California's "lieutenant" governor, democrat Cruz Bustamante, aka cruzty bustyurwallete ("Heil Cruzty") and Republican Bill "It's really all about me" Simon both appeared yesterday, Sunday, August 17, 2003, on the NBC television program Meet The Press. You can read the entire transcript of their appearance here. Both proved without doubt why members of the two major political parties hate members of the opposite party. Both bustamante and Simon showed charm and aplomb in lying through their teeth in a typical political attempt to con California's voters into believing how wonderful each would be as the state's next governor. (Of course, neither supported the other.)
A simple example for the smooth cruzty: On June 20, 2003, busamante publicly said, "I will not participate in any way [in the recall election] other than to urge voters to reject this expensive perversion of the recall process. I will not attempt to advance my career at the expense of the people I was elected to serve. I do not intend to put my name on that ballot.” Surprise! bustamante wants your vote! Looks like he lied with the usual typical democrat semantic obfuscation. bustamante is just another typical classic prevaricating democrat. Nope, this crook, as smooth as he is, will not get my vote, and he shouldn't get yours either - BECAUSE HE IS A LIAR! About bustamante, the chief strategist for the recall effort Rescue California said, "The lieutenant governor is trying to take power without taking responsibility. Replacing Gray Davis with his number two man, Cruz Bustamante, won’t change California’s direction or fix California’s problems. Bustamante is Davis with the same big spending, higher tax policies, but a better personality. That’s not what we need and not what 1.7 million voters signed recall petitions to accomplish." Even California democrat "senator" Dianne Feinstein, one of the queens of demoncrap prevarication (along with fellow California bitches Nancy "Boy" Pee-lousy and Barbara "Sting like a bee" Boxer), agrees, having said, "I also feel that it’s somewhat difficult to go out there and say, 'Vote no on recall but in case you don’t, vote for me.' That’s a bit of a hypocrisy as far as I’m concerned." WOW! Feinstein admitting that she knows hypocrisy when she sees it? QUICK! Mark this day on your calendar!!!
A simple example for the smarmy Simon: When interviewer Brian Williams asked Simon, "Are you in this till the very end, no questions?," Simon replied, "I’m in this race, Brian. The bottom line is this: That’s the most important thing. This is no time for experts. It’s not time for politics. This is not about politics. This is about doing the right thing. That’s why our people are fed up because we’ve been having too much politics out here. We’ve been having too much emphasis on people saying this is the right thing, theoretically, to do in terms of who ought to run and who shouldn’t run. That's why I want to run for governor, because I can." Gee, this surely sounds like politics to me. Obviously, to Bill Simon, the most important thing is Bill Simon! He wants to be governor for himself, not for the citizens of California. When the snake's tail rattles, people should listen, hear clearly and back away! No, Simon will also NOT get my vote, and he shouldn't get yours either - BECAUSE HE IS A LIAR!
Truth is that, unless the Republicans stop selfishly fighting for themselves and start really fighting for California by banding together behind a single strong candidate, the racist, lying, backstabbing demoncraps are gonna win the recall election. Bustamante should bow out NOW because he can not be trusted; he told us that he wouldn't run - a lie. Simon should bow out NOW, if he really cares about the future of California and its people; he won't because he doesn't. POINT -- The Way has already discussed, in SIMON SAYS: Hey, Bill, Shut Up and Go Away!, how Simon is gonna screw up the recall election, and we stand by our original comments. We're not alone in this assessment. Former Republican Congressman David Dreier, chairman of the California GOP Congressional Delegation recently said, "...at the end of the day, I do hope that Bill Simon, Tom McClintock and Peter Ueberroth all rally around Arnold. We need someone who will be an amazingly successful, charismatic and exciting ambassador for California around the world. And that someone is Arnold.”
Is Arnold Schwarzenegger the answer to California's problems? Unknown, but we do know that democrats are NOT the answer; they are the ones who are responsible (not that any democrat takes responsibility - ever) for fucking everything up in the first place! What IS known is that neither bustamante nor Simon is the answer. Both should get out NOW because truth is that both only really care about themselves - NOT YOU!!!
DO NOT VOTE FOR EITHER CRUZ BUSTAMANTE OR BILL SIMON! Neither deserve your vote!
