It's quite interesting to note who is against "Gay Marriage."  You could expect many Republicans to be against it, but what about all those so-called 'Liberals' who now connivingly refer to themselves as 'Progressive'?  Where is their progressiveness, their compassion and concern for all people now?  California Senator Barbara Boxer made a public statement which really said absolutely nothing, a complete non-statement cop-out, but the always progressivley compassionate California Senator and former San Francisco Mayor Diane Feinstein has come out against gay marriage.  How progressive, Diane; lots of compassion there.

Sad to see that even the liberals, the progressives, the demoncraps can't spin and hide their real bigotry toward homosexuals as they can hide their real bigotry toward people of color (see BACKGROUND below).  Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and the transgendered remain the last group in America toward which bigotry is not only accepted, but actually promoted.

Funny seeing the conservatives being arrested now in San Francisco as they uncivilly protest against gay marriages.  Betcha the demoncraps don't have any compassion for them.

BTW, when it comes to this issue of gay marriage, where is that separation of church and state for which the libs always hammer?  Suddenly, now they are demanding that religion be comingled with state and federal law by claiming that this religiously motivated bigotry should be allowed "because [gay marriage] violates our religious rights - and we're gonna change the states' and federal constitutions to ensure that we can still be bigots."  More typical hypocrisy from the commie left.

Current statistics say that society can expect that 50% of today's heterosexual newlyweds will be divorced after just 5 years.  Gay and lesbian couples have already come by the thousands from all over the country to get married in San Francisco, and the vast majority of them have been in loving committed relationships for decades!

So, what's so wrong about two people loving one another?  Didn't Jesus say that we all should love one another?  What is so right about creating a "right" to be bigoted toward those GLBT amongst us?  What about those children who grow up gay, feeling persecuted by their peers' bullying to, in some cases, the point of murder?   Who is really being hurt here?
