UserLand (or is that User"l"and, with a lowercase "l" - frankly, I don't give a shit) wants even more of my hard-earned money.  The problem is that this company, perhaps best known for its Radio Userland blogging tool and non-existent technical support, doesn't want to have to do anything to EARN it!  In fact, they want me to bend over and let them fuck me in the ass without lube - and then pay THEM again for the privilege!

Radio Userland, or, more properly, UserLand, is a company getting away with theft and FRAUD every day!  Personally, I think the entire Userland bunch should be put IN JAIL!  Dave Winer, that arrogant prick of a thief that started the company, who hides behind the scenes; Jake Savin, that 30-ish-going on three (never got out of the "terrible twos") "developer" who hides behind his arrogance and self-impoortance; and the rest of this criminal bunch should all spend some time in prison - say, 10-20 years each.  Then THEY would find out what it is like to get buttfucked without lube.

The $40 I spent for their buggy software and shitty hosting service (OH, golly gee!  Look - yet ANOTHER 10060 error...) is the WORST $40 I ever spent.  I thought, when I bought this software, that the company - Userland - would provide some sort of technical support (software companies do that, you know) should I need it.  Well, guess what?  The "some sort of technical support" turned out to be of the "crap or none at all" variety!  I needed it, and the only thing I ever got from Userland  - besides poorer as a result of their FRAUD - was an email from Savin defending the company's arrogance (but still not providing an answer to my original question).  I NEVER got the support from Userland that I needed.  Userland's theory is to leave that part of the bargain to other struggling users: If you want support, go ask the other mostly vastly confused and ignorant users in the Userland discussion group and hope one of them has the time to give you the answer (Thank you, Julie, for the help!).  If you are really, really lucky, you may get some sort of response from Userland's Lawrence Lee (support is his job, but he doesn't seem to do much of it), but, should you have a followup query, you will soon be dead from holding your breath.  Had I realized that Userland is a fraudulent and criminal company, I NEVER would have gotten involved with them in the first place.

Now you know.  Don't you be suckered, too!

Besides, there is a MUCH better blogging tool to use - Movable Type - and it's FREE!  Even better, when I have questioned the Movable Type folks, I have always received a prompt, courteous and technically accurate answer.  All I ever got from Userland was FUCKED!

Bottom line: The Customer is NOT happy AT ALL with Radio Userland or UserLand, the company.  Hence, now that they are begging me to pay them yet another $40 - for which I get the "privilege" of being able using the rest of the server hard drive space for which I already paid them $40 a year ago - Userland and Dave Winer (is this pronounced "weener" - as in "piss" - or "whiner" - as in liberals?  If it's procounced "winner," then he and gate$ must suck cock well together), Jake Savin and all the rest of this Userland bunch of hoodlums and fraud mongers can all GO FUCK THEMESELVES!  I wouldn't recommend Userland, Radio or any of the rest of this gutter-thief bunch if my life depended on it!!!

I HIGHLY recommend that, if you are looking for a blogging tool, DO NOT buy Radio Userland - unless you like getting fucked in the ass as they steal your wallet.  Try Movable Type - FOR FREE - and you'll get excellent and timely help from some really nice and knowlegeable folks, too, should you need it.

This is the last POINT  --  The Way post that will appear on Userland's Radio servers.  When I get around to it, I will transfer all my content to my own domain, POINT  --  The Way, and this blog will continue to live without my having to bend over for Userland.  Don't worry, "Mr. Guy," I will be back up soon enough so I can continue to harrass morons such as you.  Afterall, now that I inadvertently let the thieves at Userland STEAL from me, I need a good laugh.  Caveat Emptor!!!

Whatever happened to the idea of making the customer happy so that the business got even more business through free happy customers' word of mouth?  Businesses used to understand the concept of "The customer is always right."  Userland understands that if Userland steals the money up front, they don't have to keep the customer happy because they - Userland - already got the only thing they ever really cared about: the customer's money!  Userland says, "Give us your money - and then get fucked! "

UserLand: You are the biggest bunch of CROOKS I have ever seen in my more that 30 years of experience in computer and software businesses.
GO FUCK YOURSELVES, YOU THIEVING, IMMORAL PRICKS!

P.S.: An example of Radio Userland efficiency: I only got the "Can't read stream because TCP/IP error code 10060 - Connection timed out" error FIVE fucking times trying to post this one single post.  Sigh!
