A newspaper reports this glacier off Greenland has receded 3 miles in two years. Study: Earth likely hottest in 2,000 years It has been 2,000 years and possibly much longer since the Earth has reached such high temperatures, according to the National Academy of Sciences. They told lawmakers Thursday the Earth is running a fever and "human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming." OK naysayer’s, is the jury finally in on global warming?
