A newspaper reports this glacier off Greenland has receded 3 miles in two years. It
has been 2,000 years and possibly much longer since the Earth has
reached such high temperatures, according to the National Academy of
Sciences. They told lawmakers Thursday the Earth is running a fever and
"human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming." OK naysayer’s,
is the jury finally in on global warming? Now that we can stop these silly
arguments about whether it's occurring, maybe we can start researching ways to
deal with it in an intelligent, pragmatic manner... JG
