Invisible Web
In the most recent issue of inCite, the news magazine of the Australian Library and Information Association, I read a news clip about a web site from the Teaching Library Workshops of the University of California, Berkeley, that gives an overview of the invisible web. "It explains the kinds of specialised searchable databases that you can find online, and why many are invisible to traditional search tools. ... The top three finding tools they recommend to mine the invisible web are Librarians' Index to the Internet, AcademicInfo and Infomine."
