I en artikkel i Aftenposten kan vi lese at PowerPoint får refs etter Colombia styrten. Her henvises det til et essay av Edvard Tufte, The Cognitive Style of PowerPoint:

slideware often reduces the analytical quality of presentations. In particular, the popular PowerPoint templates (ready-made designs) usually weaken verbal and spatial reasoning, and almost always corrupt statistical analysis.

Selv med all den pepperen PowerPoint får fortsetter det å komme en rekke programmer på markedet som lar deg bruke slides i undervisningssammenheng. Noen av disse er PowerPoint Producer, Impatica og Breeze bare for å navne noen.

Her gjelder det at en er bevisst når en utvikler innhold både på nett og til bruk i klasser hvor en bruker PowerPoint.
