Interesting link here (thoughts) on Saddam's interrogation progress.
Iyad Allawi, a member of Iraq's Governing Council, has told the Arab newspapers Al-Hayat and Asharq al-Awsat that during his interrogation, Saddam Hussein has confessed to looting billions of dollars from Iraq and stashing it in banks around the world. The Governing Council estimates that Saddam may have stolen $40 billion. From Power Line

I wondered about this yesterday when I read that the Saudis had some men in custody who were going to fly a small (Cessna type) plane into a jet. Was this a preparatory phase? Food for thought.

I sure hope he is next. We've been waiting a long time for that one!
The capture of Saddam Hussein shows terrorists like Osama bin Laden that they will be found and stopped, Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said.
"Fugitives, criminals cannot hide forever, and Saddam Hussein's capture proved that," Karzai told CNN on Monday.
Referring to the leader of the al Qaeda terror group, he added: "Sooner or later, Osama and Mullah Omar will also be found," he said.
