High Speed Internet Subscribers on the RiseI just got cable internet from Cableone.net last year. and to tell you the truth, I don't know how I survived prior to that with dial-up. It has made me use the internet for just about everything though. It's just so convenient to have "always on" internet access. I realized how much I rely on broadband the other day when I was putting together a Linux box just to tinker with. Unfortunately, the ethernet card was bad and I had to rely on my old trusty 56K modem. I didn't end up using it for anything other than setting email parameters and checking them because I could not stand to wait on the pages to load. And as far as updates, forget it.
