Weak links revisited

Greenpeace activism weblogged. The environmental organisation set up a weblog in order to provide a live coverage of the latest action for the Greenpeace Stop Exxon campaign. Mobile phones and hidden cameras were also used to update parts of both sites. [Blogroots]

iTunes can the success continue
Apple's decision to close a loophole in it's Rendezvous feature last week may ultimately doom the service. With the decision to restrict Rendezvous they will more than likely have to close any loophole that hackers may find. The feature had obviously helped sell records.

For everyones information apparently hackers have found a way to trick the software to share again, so we will see if Apple makes further changes or do away with it all together. (geeknews) [Lockergnome Bytes]

Microsoft to abandon standalone IE
Great, another way to get people to fork over their money...
The software giant is phasing out standalone versions of its Internet Explorer Web browser, according to statements attributed to IE's program manager on its Web site. [CNET News.com]
