Hmm, something new to play with. muhaha!

Hep Message Server is software that transfers bits of information between different messaging sytems on the Internet. When it's done, you'll be able to use Hep to transparently route messages between e-mail, weblogs, and instant messaging.

11/15: I've posted a rather lenthly blog entry that gives a better overview of what Hep is and where it is going. Until I have time to update this page, I recommend you read it.

Looks like ReaalNetworks is getting into a little bit of everything. Quietly though.
RealNetworks jumps onto Vodafone. The software maker signs a deal with Vodafone to power the audio and video playback on certain handsets for subscribers to the U.K. cell phone giant's rich media service. [CNET News.com]

I sure hope so, I have a Best Buy much closer than any Apple store.
