Hagen Daz is on sale at Pathmark this week and so is Good Humor Bars.  Theres goes the diet.  Havent blogged for a week due to the overburdenning activities at work.  My heels are killing me this week.  Diana, says that she thinks its heel spurs.  Tonino says the same.  I may have to get it looked at by a professional.  If it is heel spurs I may have to put some extra padding in my shoes and cut out the jogging at the park for a while. This will not hamper my dedication to lose my flabby gut by the end of this month though.  I will have to do more walking instead.  More on that crusade later. I got an I.M. from Claire (formerly Atencio) today.  She is still lives near Smith Haven.  She says that Concepcion had a baby and now she is getting married.  I wonder what Claire has her email.  I really have to get in touch with that girl.  My ex-girlfriend Jo-jo is one of Concepcions best friends. When we were all still in Queens College, Concep was the ideal girl next door.  She had made commitment to stay a virgin until marriage.  Its kind of ironic that she has a baby now. 6:44:43 PM    comment []

Boy! Oh, Boy! This guy is in trouble.... I went to Kim and Shieldeen's baby shower. Kim was planning to throw his best friend JC in the pool. Unbeknownst to him, I was thinking to turning the idea 180 degrees and Throw Kim in the pool. I got JC and all of Kim's office buddies to join me and coralled Kim and brought him to the pool by carrying him on his arms and legs. Kim decided that if he was going down, he wasnt going down alone. This 6 foot giant grabed hold of me as we threw him in the pool and I went along with him. SPLASH! When, I got out of the water I realized that I had my cellphone attached to my belt! I also had my pager on the belt too! I fished around for my phone and it was still intact on my beld strap. The pager came out of the holster and landed in the bottom of the pool. I managed to grab it out but it was too later it was jammed with water. However, my phone was safe. It took a licking and kept on ticking. Well, ringing... I have to call the pager company on Monday to see if I can get it replaced. Good thing that its my company's pager. I dont have to worry about the cost of replacing it. Kim had his phone on him too. The machine buzzed after he got out of the water and just died. A word to the wise, when horeplaying near water, leave your expensive gadgets off your belt strap. 7:38:44 PM    comment []

I figured out a way to reveal some info about our customers in my work blog without compromising customer confidentiality issues. Might be subtle but it works for me. I am feeling stress at work when I shouldnt be. I think, that I am putting too much focus inside the box than outside of it. Talking to fresh team members are a great way for me to get back my focus. I was just talking to Adam from the Bayside branch and he is really enthused about where Kinko's is heading. That was a breath of fresh air for me because I am losing faith at where my branch is heading. All it takes is another 10 percent and we could make that store come over the top and win medals. Finally got my car loan paid off!  Woot Woot (dances around the room).  I called up Long Beach and they are sending my title on July 15th- pink slip as they call it in that movie.  Speaking of getting things done,  I have also started helping Dot pay off what I owe her which is my life. Last week, I wrote her a check for $800.00 towards my debts.  It will do her some good since the mortgage payment is due soon.  In the mean time I shall celebrate my true ownership of my baby the 1996 Honda Accord!  Cheers! 5:35:25 PM    comment []

July 4th Celebration I spent the day in New Jersey with Dot and visited her cousins. We went to the pool for the afternoon. I got a tad bit darker too. The weather man mentioned that the tanning index was 10 minutes without any sun block. I had sunblock on with an SPF of 30 and it felt like I got tanned in like 5 minutes! I did a couple of laps in the pool which I havent done in a while and both my legs started to get cramps. I guess that what happens when you get older, you just cant do to many things without suffering the consequences. Jessica and Emily decided to play tag so we did that also for a while. We went back to Dottie's aunt's house to shower and change. Jessica, Emily and I were dark like heck but Dot stayed a tad red. Dot said that all three of us looked like we were from the same family. I shut my mouth and tried not to say something smart. The day would not be complete without some bar-b-queing so thats what we did. We passed by Dot's grandparents in Edison for some noshing and some good old fashion meat burning. Note to self, when conducting a bar-b-que try not to use wood sticks. They had a gas grill which pretty much burned off the tips of the wood sticks. The chicken was done really well. I gourged so much food that I ended up sleeping right after that. Emily and Werner invited Me, Dot and a couple of her friends to a day trip to Six Flags' Great Adventure.  We drove down in the Acura MDX which had a GPS navigation built in.  Not only did it tell us where we were but the cool thin with it is that we could plot our trip and the application would point where to go.  To top it of it would also let the us know if we were going off course and would plot out an alternate route to take to get us back on course!  It still has it drawbacks though.  How do you tell a GPS system to tell you how to get back to route 440 when the entrance that it told you to go is blocked off due to constrution?  We finally found our way back to Staten Island and got home to Emily and Werner's home in Brooklyn not after we took a couple of back roads and the thought was on the back of my mind that we were gonna get car jacked... 11:33:03 AM    comment []
