@£¤%&"#¤ can't believe I am sitting here, humming to Barry Manilow's "Mandy", something is not right here :) where is my new Bruce Springsteen CD

it's been awhile, I've been busy doing all sorts of great stuff with .NET, also been reading some excellent .NET books, to name a few:

all rock solid books.

New year's resolutions, I don't believe in them, but I am expecting this from 2004:

  • Lot's of new .NET jobs in Q2 of 2004.
  • Developmentor course, when ... between Q1 and Q3 2004, looking forward to this, oh am I looking forward to this :)
  • Spend more time with my 2 sons, that's a promise. 1Q - Q4.
  • Pickup the kickboxing sport again (uh that will be a tough one to execute, but I'll give it a try).
  • I predict there will be 1 WSE release and then it's forever history.
  • Become a better .NET consultant, year 2004 will be the year where .NET really kicks in and gain momentum.
  • Buy a smart-phone, doing Mobil device programming. (soon).
  • Watch TV on Sunday, Feb. 1 2004, drink beers, eat peanuts, scratch my .....
  • I missed out on Matrix revolutions, waiting for the DVD.
  • People will finally see how screwed up the Open source business model really is and drop it like a hot CMP bean :).
  • Become intimate with Indigo
  • Become intimate with Oracle 10G database.
  • Push XML and XSLT to the max in my daily work.
  • Get familiar with  the XAML programming model, might as well, it's only the future eh :).
  • Yukon and .NET 2.0 in say Q4.

I'll check up on this 1/1/2005.

btw I currently got the flu, so I might be wrong about the open source prediction.
