I saw the trailer for the movie Paycheck, noted it was based on the story "Paycheck" by Philip K. Dick, and read the story. It's a fine story, and it joins the growing list of his fiction pieces that have been turned into films (a search on IMDB yielded this result).
It's well worth it, IMO, if you liked the movies (Blade Runner, Minority Report, etc.), to seek out and read the stories. Readers coming to the stories from the movies based on them should understand that in many cases the movie is inspired by, adapted from, or based on the story (e.g., movie Total Recall, story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale"), rather than providing a straight retelling in cinematic form. That way, of course, you get a chance to enter the world of Philip K. Dick's fiction, a unique area with its own time zone, as well as to survey the source material on which the movie was based.
There are several collections of PKD's stories available, not only for purchase from your favorite source but also on local library shelves, free for the borrowing. Philip K. Dick's works have been collected for a long time by libraries and readers, and they are now classics.
Just remember to fasten your seatbelt and pull down the safety bar before you open the book; it'll be a wild ride.
