If you're not familiar with Google AdWords, you have been missing out on one of the easiest and most powerful money-making strategies online today.

Do a search for just about anything on Google, and you will see a column of ads on the right side of the search results page.  Anyone can participate in this program, and it costs just $5 to open an account.  The signup page is located here.

The way most people use AdWords is to drive targeted traffic to their website in order to sell goods and services.  For example, if you make custom parts for Harley Davidson motorcycles, you would create an ad for your company, and bid on the keywords Harley Davidson, custom parts, motorcycle parts, Harley parts, and so on...

Whenever someone does a search on Google for "Harley parts", your ad would show up on the right side of the search results page.  If the searcher likes your ad, they will click on it and be taken to your site - hopefully to make a purchase or two.

For each ad you create, you can bid on as many keywords as you like - minimum bids start at 5 cents per click.  A good strategy to follow is to look for keywords that others in your market may have missed, allowing you to pick up good traffic at a minimum cost.
