Just flipped the TV to the game, NY 10, Seattle 3, that's a lot worse than last night and not at all as good as Tuesday. The score is so bad that the statistics are not up on the top of the screen. Seattle better get busy and play.

The final score is too harsh to publish.

A little bit about my work.

Transportation Engineer for WSDOT and currently working on the Issaquah/I-90 Interchange revision. It's a big project and connects the highlands to I-90 so that many, many more houses can be built in the 'burbs plus Microsoft may put up a new campus in the area.

Keiwit Construction Company is the prime contractor and doing a fine job, though there have been some difficulties to overcome. http://www.kiewit.com/

8:03:41 PM

We have tickets to see "The Matrix, The Next Version" for Saturday the 24th of May at 10:00 AM at the Cinerama Theater. We saw "The Matrix" there when it was first released at a showing consisting of the prime contractor and friends after the Cinerama was remodeled by the construction company Lynnette worked for. Very, very, very awesome.

Well, now that I have reinstalled Radio, I don't seem to be able to re-enter the Unlock Code to get this reinstall up and off the ground. So I will have to run this trial version until I can find the correct way to proceed.

Transportation engineers don't really know too much except concrete, asphalt and change orders.

Refering back to Lynnette's resume, she was terminated from her job of IT manager at a Seattle construction company after 10 years of premier work. Apparently the company's bank has become very nervous about the financial footing of the company and has asked for a reduction of overhead.

Fortunately we may have found a position for her that is even better. Her previous supervisor and partner of the construction company was an associate of the new company and called the principle recommending her for the new position.

We are grateful for the recommendation in this day and age.

7:42:00 PM

Wednesday we had so many things to do that I didn't get much time to work on getting Radio installed.

We called it an evening after finishing up Lynnette's resume and sending it off to the HR person.

Tuesday I got a new Toshiba laptop, Satellite Pro 6100 with all the bells and whistles. It's a nice machine.

Hooked the machine up to the router and zoom, I'm on the net looking for downloads.

Initally downloading every WinXP Pro upgrade, XP would not allow the sound drivers that came with the computer to run so I had to spend an hour searching through the system to find the web address for safe and compatible drivers. Once the drivers were installed I started installing the Windows Office XP Developers Edition. Then the inevitable upgrades.....

Got everything going at last at 11PM.
