I was able to take a good nap in prepration for the hectic drive home to Seattle. Slept right through Harry Potter 2.

I'm blogging on the road today. We drove over to Shelton and had a luncheon birthday party for my sister-in-law, Mary Kay. We all met at St. Edwards Church. All the family was there for the big 50. My dad and uncle described their yearly trip to Arizona complete with heart attacks and other adventures. Mary Kay's friends from Hood River Oregon drove up to say hello. Her mom and fiance and brother and family came up from Portland. The close friends from Shelton were there. We sang happy birthday, talked with each other continually, ate and left after 3 hours of intense fun.

My nephew is attending the University of Chicago .

The University of Chicago. For a text version of the web site, go to text.uchicago.edu.

He tells me that it has been quite a challenge. He attended a small high school in Shelton Washington and was a big fish in a small pond and is now a fish in a big pond. He has the ability to rise to the occasion and is doing well.

WSDOT

I set up a link to the project that I am currently working on. Project management is my task at this massive interchange on I-90 at the City of Issaquah just 10 miles east of the western end of I-90 in downtown Seattle.
