The Matrix Reloaded
I have been going to science fiction movies since the 50's. Probably the first one I saw was "The Forbidden Planet". It should be done again by the Warshowski Brothers. I have read Asimov, Heinlein, Dick and a hundred others. The Matrix Reloaded, Seattle Cinerama Theater, was a marvel of cinemetography. Pushing the boundaries of filmmaking and showing others that there are no boundaries. The film looked like a computer screen, not much makeup on the actors (pores and all), great Bacchanal scene, monster truck wreck, as a smith I kind of have to chear for agent smith, and an audience completely taken with the film. Chearing for the hero, loving the action, waiting for an hour and more to get in the theater, sold out for all performances thrugh Sunday night. We saw the 10:15 Saturday morning performance and arrived at 9:30 at "will call" to pick up our tickets, halfway down the block to get in line with everyone else, people from 8 to 60 (me) years old.
We saw the Matrix at the opening of the Seattle Cinerama on the theater's grand opening night. Lynnette's company was prime contractor on the project. Free tickets were nice. But, alas, that company is suffering in the economy and she has to find a new job after ten years of service.
