The Alabama tax code may be revised. Residents get to vote on the tax increase, the millions raised to fight this tax revision probably means that it will fail. Companies like Target (another Wal-Mart), Boeing's Delta Rocket Plant located there because of "a good economic climate" and of course the banks and politicians that live off the industries that locate there will effectively campaign to defeat this much needed tax revision. An Alabama family of four earning less than $5000 per year pays income tax.

This is what we need to do in Washington State. Lure Boeing to Everett with a free ride and then when they are totally committed and have several 7E7s in the air, hammer them with a new tax code. The same can be done to Wal-Mart, legislate manditory health care benefits and raise the minimum wage to a level that an employee of these so called "good" companies can purchase a home. If the 7th to 12th richest people in the United States cannot supply their employees with a reasonable health care package, a child care facility and a wage that allows them to purchase a suitable home to live in, then they must be made to do so in some other way.
