I was considering the $87 billion that the administration wants for Iraq. If taxes are not increased to pay for the total amount of the Iraq war, the occupation and the rebuilding of the country, the lowest income citizens of the United States will pay the tax in the form of increased inflation and higher interest rates.

The legislatures that are visiting Iraq this past week commented on the terrible conditions at the hospitals there. They should go home and looked at their own constitutents and see the horrible health conditions that these people endure. My 83 year old father has to go out of the country to get his teeth fixed for a reasonable price. The same tooth replacement here is 10 times as expensive as it is across the border. He spent $600 to get 6 front teeth capped, I will be spending $6000 for the same fix.
