It's wonderful to be with my dad and brothers. Dad and his wife are 83. He just had cataract surgery in one eye and is hot for the other eye to get fixed so he can again drive at night. Max and Ray Peterson, my uncle and aunt (mom's sister) are just 80, all of them travel around the US at a moments notice. Jerry and Barb are having some difficult times in Oregon but are working their way through it. We watch out for them and help out when they really come up against the wall.

Yesterday Lynn and I went to Shelton to visit my brothers. Oysterfest was going full tilt with the normal town of Shelton inundated with oyster shuckers, oyster suckers, and wine tasters. The traffic was backed up for a mile from the turnoff to the slimy festival. I don't partake of the little wads of lowlife myself, I grew up on an oyster beach on Hood Canal and we lived on seafood for many years. I can't stand the bottom feeders of the sea. Well, maybe shrimp and crab but shell fish definately trigger some vile reflex in my body. We were surprised with the arrival of my dad and his wife, and then my aunt and uncle showed up. We had an impromptu family reunion. My little brother was up from Salem Oregon with his wife. We had a great round table discussion after dinner about some topics that I brought up. I just threw out some statement I wanted their experience and opinion on and then just sat back and listened to the dialogue. It was a very wonderful day.

The attorney generals office has turned the Statue of Liberty on her head, pulled her skirts up over her eyes and gangbanged her, all in the name of the ever-expanding war on terrorism. They sit there and believe that God is whispering in their ears while displaying a far right fascist, fanatical, religious grin applauding the rape of our inalienable rights.
