Suspected Lindh Killer Detained 
The Swedish police say they have taken into custody a 35 year old believed to be the same as seen on photos taken by surveillance cameras just before the killing of Foreign Minister Anna Lindh.
Lindh Memorial Service Friday
Leaders from around the world are expected here Friday to join members of the Swedish government, the royal family, politicians and many others for the official memorial service for the slain Foreign Minister Anna Lindh.
Thirty Years on the Throne
Anna Lindh s murder cast a somber spell over the ceremonies Monday marking the 30th anniversary of King Carl Gustav s coronation.
Swedish Parliament Opens
The Swedish parliament formally opened its new session Tuesday. But Prime Minister Göran Persson says he won t be announcing a successor to Anna Lindh as foreign minister, or any other changes in the government, until after Friday s memorial service.
Call for Euro Exemption
Following the overwhelming rejection of the euro in Sunday s referendum here, the Left and Green parties have called on the government to negotiate a Swedish exemption for adopting the single currency with Brussels.
