Lindh Murder Suspect Detained
The Swedish police took into custody a man suspected to be the killer of Foreign Minister Anna Lindh Tuesday night outside a restaurant in a northern Stockholm suburb, just a few miles from the hospital where Lindh died.
Security Police Review
Swedish Justice Minister Thomas Bodström says the body guard routines of the National Security Service will be reviewed, because of the Lindh murder.
Blix Thinks Weapons Destroyed
Former United Nations head arms inspector Hans Blix now believes that Iraq destroyed all its weapons of mass destruction ten years ago, and says that intelligence agencies were wrong in their weapons assessments that led to war.
Alfredo Astiz Arrested
Former Argentine naval captain Alfredo Astiz was arrested Tuesday in connection with an investigation into human rights abuses during the country s 1976-83 military dictatorship.
One Dead in Copenhagen Blast
At least one person was killed Wednesday when a car exploded outside a hospital in a Copenhagen suburb.
