Demand Assets Be Unfrozen
The four people -- among them three Swedish citizens -- who were placed on the E.U s terrorist list as alleged financial backers of al-Qaida have made a demand at the European Union s high court that their assets be unfrozen.
Call for Action on Extradition
Swedish Justice Minister Thomas Bodström has called on Poland, Lithuania and Estonia to live up to the requirements of an agreement that foreign nationals serving time in Swedish prisons be extradited instead to prisons in their home country.
Sony Ericsson Swings into Profit
Swedish-Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson has announced a 39 million euro pre-tax profit in the third quarter, returning to the black after a string of quarterly losses since it began operations in 2001.
Björn Borg to Appeal Tax Ruling
