US rocket pioneers hit 100km. First space flight for privately-built GoFast By Lester Haines . [The Register]
Looks like the grand challenge is coming closer and closer to being a reality. Burt Ruttan is getting closer and closer too. This attempt is not quite a vehicle for hauling people however. That's probably the biggest difference between Ruttan's X-plane and all the others. The Ruttan plane will carry people, safely and repeatedly for a profit, just you watch and see.
