Martin Luther special on PBS

I can honestly say, I know more now than I ever did when I took Ancient History in college. There's no accounting for the lengths the "establishment" will go to to preserve the status quo. The Papacy really felt threatened by the popularity of indepent thought, of people questioning the monopoly the Church had over their "souls". Microsoft is the equivalent of the Renaissance era Catholic Church. The battles waged to preserve the Church's exclusive rights over all things religious are no different the the ongoing Legal battles waged to hold the Monopoly in check.
