Harvey goes into the barbershop. It's a big barbershop. It's about the biggest barbershop you ever saw. It contains, among other things a pool table and an armored tank from the first World War. Cairo Talmadge Bailey, Harvey's step-son, who is maybe the son of Mary and her first husband Everestt Bailey, who the hell can tell with Mary? is playing pool. C.T. ("Cairo" only among his siblings), C.T. is skinny and self-concious and he pretends he doesn't see Harvey when Harvey comes in.
