Major Disaster
Well, it had to end sometime. My natural high from last week has come down HARD. I was banking on a significant response to a full-page ad that I placed in a major massage magazine this month, coming out next week.
I got an advance copy of the issue today and...my ad has another ad glued to the front of it. I'm not kidding. There is a blow-in ad for OneSpirit books that is glued to the face of my ad, so people will have to peel off that ad to even be able to read my ad. Does that suck or what?
I think what the universe is trying to tell me is that I shouldn't be putting so much of my expectations into that one ad, and that I should be continuing with the links campaign and even placing Web ads on various high-traffic holistic Websites.
I didn't get totally depressed when I saw the screw-up, but still...it was hard.
