&lt;P&gt;The computer industry has more plot twists than a soap opera.&amp;nbsp; Actually, this is pretty cool in that it pushes the PowerPC (which is a nice architecture) more into the main stream and gives Apple some&amp;nbsp;validation of their technology roadmap.&amp;nbsp; This, combined with things like the Virginia Tech G5 supercomputer, will hopefully help drive further advances of the PowerPC.&amp;nbsp; As the article states, IBM will be supplying the CPUs for three gaming platforms:&amp;nbsp; Xbox (PowerPC), Playstation (the Cell), and GameCube (PowerPC).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
