Celtic are through to the second qualifying round of the Champions League. They beat FBK Kaunus 1-0 at Celtic Park tonight making it 5-0 on aggregate. Not exactly a stunning result this evening but it was a weakened team and it's the win that matters.
The Celts now move on from FBK to MTK. MTK Hungaria that is. And the first leg is in Budapest next week.

Australian international David Zdrilic (wot, no Bruce?) has signed for Aberdeen. Apparently he played for the mighty Wallsall last season but had to move on and wanted to stay in Britain. So what is he going to Pittodrie for?
Zdrilic's (try saying that after a pint of Talisker) claim to fame is that he once scored 8 goals in a game for Australia. This was in their 31-0 defeat of American Samoa (population 6).
