Personal Entry  "Bye Bye Birdie"       Our film's editor Chris found an infant bird outside on the ground this afternoon.  There's a nest in the billboard above our office, we suspect that's where it came from.  Chris wrapped it carefully in a towel and brought it inside.  Eventually my co-workers decided that the best thing to do was put it on the roof of the building and hope that the little fella would somehow find its way home.   Last time I checked, another bird -- I'm assuming Mother Bird -- was feeding it on the roof.  I hope things work out okay. 6:53:55 PM    comment []

Interesting Stuff  GOOGLE to create new search tool for Weblogs (via FARK) According to this article from The Register, Google will be creating a new search tool specifically for Weblogs.  Additionally, in the future weblogs will most likely be omitted from the main index. I personally think this is a good idea.  In the short time I've been blogging I've come to realize that weblogs are a completely different kind of monster than other websites and deserve their own space separate from the rest of the web.  I also understand the concerns others have about blog content clogging up the main search index, since most of what we express on our pages are related to our personal lives and careers and are only meant to be accessed by a select readership. 4:32:41 PM    comment []

Interesting Stuff  IMPURITY Some guy gave me and my friend Sage an invitation to this art showing the other night.  I might go and check it out just cuz I'm into fantasy and sci-fi type shit.  Besides, there's gonna be "live body art" there, which hopefully means naked people, which I'm also into. 1:40:41 AM    comment []
