For those of you who wonder what's chess I offer these rhetorical flowers arranged in a bouquet to my taste.

How does he do it?
Ray Charles, pianist and singer, lost his sight as a child. At 15 he formed his own band with a rhythm-and-blues style and roots in gospel, country blues and jazz. Most people can picture him with his sunglasses and captivating smile in front of a piano, yet the image of this blind musician looking with his hands at a chess board may raise a few questions. Here are the answers.

Child prodigies and the Art of Chess
Sergei Karjakin is the youngest grandmaster in the history of the game, and David Howell is the boy who at the age of eight beat a grandmaster in an official blitz game (at 11 he drew a game against Vladimir Kramnik). On June 28 the two will face each other in an exhibition match to celebrate the opening of The Art of Chess exhibition. We bring you full information and some beautiful pictures.
