Since maintaining two Web sites is getting to be a bit of a headache for me, effective today I am instituting a procedure change in my little Web-world. This site will continue to remain up, but primarily as a storage vehicle for the long-term articles shown in the left-hand column of this page. All daily updates, including items of "Connected PDA" news, will be posted to the The Connected PDA Treo 600 Moblog. Of course, this new procedure may change in the future, but any such changes will be posted both here and at The Connected PDA Treo 600 Moblog. I'm certainly open to suggestions if anyone feels this is a problem for them. Otherwise, I'll see you over at The Connected PDA Treo 600 Moblog!

Well, now it looks like the Asus A716 WiFi/Bluetooth/SD/CF Pocket PC won't be available in the US until February, or maybe even later than that!

The editor of Smartphone Thoughts admits that the Microsoft Smartphone platform alone just doesn't provide enough usable functionality and now carries an HP iPAQ 4350 Pocket PC. I think he should have just gone and bought a Treo 600! Wow, with this article closely following Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street journal blasting the MS Smartphone, Microsoft must be getting nervous as to the continued viability of their platform!
