Microsoft has started promoting using Pocket PCs with WiFi hot spots by offering a free month's subscription to T-Mobile, Boingo, and Wayport services to purchasers of new Windows Mobile Pocket PCs.

JVC will be releasing a couple of multimedia-oriented Pocket PCs in September, one of which will have built-in WiFi. The WiFi model looks very interesting to me.
