New TV Series

The new shows and who will be showing them in Australia

Six Degrees (7) Drama. 10.8 million US viewers. From the creators of Lost. Borrows from the old adage that anyone can be connected through a chain of six people.

Smith (9) Drama. 11 million US viewers. Ray Liotta stars as the chief of a criminal gang of sophisticated thieves (think Ocean's 11) after a final pay day. Aussie Simon Baker (The Guardian) also stars.

Brothers & Sisters (7) Drama. Debuted in the US with 15.6 million viewers. Ensemble cast of complicated siblings starring Calista Flockhart, Aussie Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under) and veterans Tom Skerrit and Sally Field.

Heroes (7) Drama. 14.1 million US viewers. Sci-fi drama chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.

Ugly Betty

All I can say this show is hilarous.

The word is that Channel 7 has the rights to the show for Australia.

Will they stuff it up like they did Arrested Development?
