XMLSPY
I've been using XML quite a bit lately, both for work-related stuff and my personal projects. While not ideal for everything, there are many areas where XML is well-suited. Up to now, I've just used VIM for editing XML files. No more. Now I use XMLSPY, a fantasitic... I was going to say 'XML editor', but in reality, it's an entire XML development environment. It can create a DTD automatically from an XML file, it validates, it slices, dices, and purees. Highly recommended.
