Hilfäh, Blogs werden Thema bei den Grünen!. Es gibt am 22. Mai eine Veranstaltung der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in Berlin: Zwischen War-Blogs und Informationsministerium (frech aus dem Frame heraus verlinkt!) -- Medien und öffentliche Wahrnehmung nach dem Irak-Krieg. Die Veranstaltung findet um 19:00 Uhr in der Rosenthaler Str. 40/41, 10178 Berlin, Galerie statt.

Metablogging. In der Diskussion zu diesem Artikel von Thomas stellt Kris die interessante These auf, daß die Wahrnehmung der Blogger durch ihre Software begrenzt wäre, Manila-Blogger hätten eine andere Wahrnehmung der (digitalen) Umwelt als z.B. Antville-Nutzer. Das ist -- glaube ich -- nur begrenzt richtig. Zwar stimmt es, daß -- aus noch nicht hinreichend untersuchten Gründen -- Blogger, die bei einem gemeinsamen Hoster bloggen, über den dort mehr oder weniger vorhandenen Community-Server tatsächlich auch eine Art Community bilden, aber eben nur dort (d.h. das trifft tatsächlich nur auf Antville, Twoday, 20six, Userland etc. zu). Das Phänomen habe ich z.B. weder bei Blogger-, noch bei Movable Type-Usern und den Nutzern der vielen PHP-basierten Movabel-Type-ähnlichen Systeme beobachten können.
