Computer History Museum presenting AppleLORE
The Computer History Museum -- home to one of the largest collections of computer-related artifacts, documents, film, and photographs in the world -- is planning AppleLORE, the second in its series of commemorative events to capture and preserve stories from "notable information age companies." An invitation-only event slated for Sept. 13, AppleLORE will celebrate Apple's 1976-1993 contributions to the computer industry. The event will be held at the Computer History Museum's new location (1401 N. Shoreline Boulevard, Mountain View), and is open to alumni of Apple and Claris who worked at the companies between 1976 and 1993. [MacCentral]
