Govt rings in teleworking changes By Robert Jaques, The Register (03/09/2003) is another article on the U.K.'s Department of Trade and Industry's recently released telework guidance.

"The guidance, produced after consultation with the CBI [Confederation of British Industry] and TUC [Trades Union Congress], sets out legal requirements and examples of best practice which are designed to help businesses and employees consider all issues related to flexible working. "

As blogged earlier in the "Labour" Day roundup of articles, the guidance covers a wide array of telework issues, such as tax implications, recruitment, training, career progression, and dealing with isolation.
