Information superhighway is alternate route in snow by Seattle Times Staff January 07, 2004 tells a familiar story about telecommuting during weather events. What's new? It appears in that in the Seattle area at least, a popular alternative to either going in to the office or staying snowed in at home is to head out to the local coffee shop and telework via their free WiFi broadband connection.
