It's Opening Day at Fenway. Go Red Sox! Today was opening day at Fenway Park for (my) world champion Red Sox. We didn't get to go (come on, Dad!), but Celia at least got to dress the part in her preschool class (they had their own opening day celebration and dress-up). The team received their World Series rings, a world championship banner was raised for the first time in 86 years (I sure I hope I don't have to wait until I'm almost 88 to see another one), and the Sox won.  Best of all they beat the Yankees (and beat them good, 8-1)!!  I can't wait to go to Fenway for my first game (uh, Dad, hello . . . are you listening?). 8:20:32 PM
