Club Passim Music on the Common

Celia's Butterfly FaceZulie Blends Ins

Yesterday we went to a free concert for the 47th anniversary of this totally great Harvard Square music venue, Club Passim, where a 17-year old Joan Baez got her start; Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Muddy Waters, Judy Collins, Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin and lots of others hung out; and our singer-songwriter friend Liz Carlisle, now plays sometimes. The concert was outside on the Cambridge Common (that's me among the fallen blossoms from a beautiful tree -- pretty neat camouflage, huh?) and I had a great time until I fell sound asleep in my stroller. Meanwhile Celia went off and got a butterfly painted on her face and ran around with her best friend Nia and had a great time.
