WHEN BUSH COMES TO SHOVE According to a Department of Defense Web site, the Pentagon is planning to build a hypersonic unmanned drone capable of attacking targets anywhere on the planet in under two hours.
"This capability would free the U.S. military from reliance on forward basing to enable it to react promptly and decisively to destabalizing or threatening actions by hostile countries and terrorist organizations," said the Defense Advanced Projects Agency (DARPA).
Let us all hope that our trigger-happy Texan isn't in power when this kind of technology is available at hand. Shoot first, and look for your weapons of mass destruction when the rest of the world has moved on to a new topic.
