A friend of mine forwarded this message from Tom Benson, a collector of
Terry Redlin art. If you are interested, contact Tom directly.
Here's his message:
I own a rather sizable collection of early Terry Redlin prints, a result
of Terry being a friend and former employee.. However, we are now
"downsizing" and "simplifying", are out of wall space and want to sell a
good portion of these, and are asking for any suggestions you might
have. Many of these are nicely framed. We want a fair price for
these, but if we can eliminate commission charges, etc., we can sell
them at a fair price to both buyer and seller. You may know that Terry
is a world-renowned wildlife artist, who also puts the wildlife in an
intersting scene.
We are open to talking directly to collectors, or individuals who might
like a Redlin. But we are also looking for a gallery that might
understand Redlins and take them on consignment at a fair price (or buy
them outright).
If you or someone you know are looking for a specific print, I'll be
happy to look and see if I have it (may take a bit of time as I need to
get them out of storage soon).
If you have any suggestions of a gallery that understands this market,
or of collectors who might be interested, I'll appreciate it. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Tom E. Benson

Here's a shot of me and Ted Kirkpatrick with two of the steelhead we caught yesterday while fishing with Eric Haataja, of Big Fish Guide Service. For details, see the post below. Photo by Eric Haataja.

Looks like a busy fall with radio interviews. I'll be on 620 AM WTMJ's Sports Central
live tonight right after the 6:30 news break talking with host Bill
"Big Unit" Michaels about fall and winter outdoor fun in
Wisconsin. Don't know what we'll talk about, but count on a
lively discussion, if you know Bill's show. One thing for sure,
I'll mention the hot steelhead bite going on right now (see recent post
below) and maybe some late-season hunting opportunities.
Tune in and post your comments here.

If you've already tagged your deer, or if you're tired of trying, the
steelhead bite on the Milwaukee is hot right now. I fished last
Friday and again yesterday with Eric Haataja, of Big Fish Guide Service, and Ted Kirkpatrick, drummer and co-founder of Tourniquet.
We caught only one fish Friday, but lost a few. Then the rain
muddied the river enough to shut down the action and mess up our video
camera.
We went back yesterday afternoon, with a dry camera and two hours of
daylight and caught five fish in short order. Ted and I doubled
on a beautiful pair of 8 or 9 pound fish, a colorful buck and a bright
hen. The rain brought some new fish into the river and conditions
now are perfect for drift-fiishing spawn (although yarn, tube jigs and
flies would also take fish), which is how we caught them.
Ted fishes a center-pin reel on a 13-foot rod, a rig that allows long,
perfect drifts. I used a 10-foot drift rod with an ultralight
reel and 8-lb.mono. Eric put us onto fish in several
locations. They were in deep holes and runs, generally out of the
fast water, although Ted caught a couple in pretty good current.
We also ran into a friend of theirs who had hooked 30 and landed most
of them on a center-pin rig. He had been fishing most of the
day. His eyes were glazed, but he wore a huge grin.
There are fish anywhere you find deep, slow water, so pick a spot where no one else is fishing and have at it.
