This isn't supposed to be that hard! Turkey hunting, I'm talking about.  Seven days in a row so far and I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm whipped tonight, so here's my report: heard a gobbler before first light, set up as close as I dared, and never heard him again! Heard another one at 10:00 a.m. that answered my locator yelping ONCE, so I set up and never heard him again. Now I'm back at inlaws in Canisteo, where I plan to hunt in the morning. So, because I am falling asleep on my computer, I'm gonna hang it up and sleep for real. Later... 8:27:02 PM    comment []
