Mobile Developers Conference 2004 will be held in San Francisco on March 23-27.  I'm excited about this event due to the keynotes by Bill Gates and Don Box.  Plus, the pre-con is by Jim Wilson and the post-con is by Doug Boling!  To top that, I've been invited to speak on the following:

ASP.NET Mobile Controls "Whidbey"
In the "Whidbey" release of ASP.NET the controls model has been unified so that ASP.NET controls inherently support mobile devices without the need for separate mobile controls. This session covers the new features for supporting mobile devices in ASP.NET

Mobilizing Your Desktop Applications
This session will look at the techniques, tips and tricks for developing smart device versions of your existing desktop applications. Learn about UI best practices and design considerations for creating compelling smart device applications. Non-desktop developers will also benefit from the many design tips and smart device development best practices covered by this session.

The April issue of the .NET Developer's Journal will be our first-ever, official "INETA's Choice" issue.  What this means, in short, is that an entire section of the magazine will be devoted to articles that have been directly nominated and voted for by the world-wide INETA community at http://www.ineta.org/inetachoice.

We are now beginning acquisitions for this issue and would be interested in speaking with anyone who might be able to write an article on one of the following topics:

1) SQL Server Reporting Services

2) Error-handling for Windows Applications

3) New Web Server Controls in Whidbey

If you're interested in being a part of this historic event, please contact me ASAP at derek@sys-con.com.  Thanks in advance!
