Tech and the middle class

Very interesting article giving a perspective on US plutocracy and the problem of the decline of a middle class.

After terror, massed force.

Thought

And attrocity is a one sided persepctive. People fight with what they have. Freedom fighters and the heros of the american war of independence are terrorists from someone's point of view. The 911 attack is reminiscent of the boston tea party in its significance and impact. (It was not just a fraternity prank). The US actions in much of the world, including the teaching of terrorism, makes our case impossible to sustain as a moral case, so it has to revert to power.

But what counts now is, what next.
