Posted here Monday, August 30, 2004 at 10:19:37 PM     The republican convention is 9/11 and terrorism and the need for a war.. and the whole is a cover for business intersts (not all but a handful of old industries, oil, banking, armaments, ..) and a complex support for Israel.. all because of fear of change, fear of culture, fear of science.. But bureucracy is real, and not very functional. The dems and progressives have not take on the challenge of making sure that more money for health, education, aznd military really pay off rather than just sink money. Lots of work to do. Will Kerry take it on, or keep the empire going in a Clinton style neo-liberalism (economic globalization)?     ********
