ANDREWS Published: May 18, 2004 ASHINGTON, May 17 - Congressional Democrats stepped up pressure Monday on the Bush administration to ease gasoline prices by releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, but administration officials plan to keep adding to the reserve until some time next year. I would suspect that the idea is to release reserves in large quantitites in late summer and early fall to affect the election, not now when prices might come down and be going up again by october. ********
