A First Daughter May Head Back to Class
  • Jenna Bush's latest media stir comes as she applies for a job to teach disadvantaged children at a public school in Washington.

    • So reports the LA Times. First Daughter Jenna chooses to pursue a career in public education with disadvantaged children. Good for her. If she sticks with it, I must admire her for it. With her name, she could do about anything. I hope that she sticks with it. Maybe she'll be able to have some influence on her father's education policies--for the better one hopes. Well, I for one hope the media doesn't scrutinize her forever on end in her first job. Let her be and let her do what she wants to do and come into her own.
