Going on 4 or 5 days now with Google Groups Usenet access being screwy. It started out on the weekend -- apparently some sort of server problem. Quite a number of newsgroups were not getting updated. The flow started again on Monday, but then replies to posts in those groups did not have quoting function working and did not appear as part of the thread (that is still the case).
In a world where many large ISPs are dropping NNTP access regularly many of us depend on Google Groups for access to a number of Usenet forums.
Google -- you are letting us down!
